Summary: I am a skilled shipfitter, an outgoing hard worker, and the want to learn everything. I

am OSHA and Blue print certified; reason I am looking for a new job is because I want to relocate.

The ship building industry intrigues me and I want to continue to grow and learn as much as

possible.

• 2009-2011-Winn-Dixie stock crew- Receive, store, and issue sales floor merchandise. Stock

shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with merchandise and arrange merchandise displays to

attract customers. May periodically take physical count of stock or check and mark merchandise.

• 2012-2013 V.T. Halter Marine Painter Helper-Assists painter, performing any combination of

following duties: Pours specified amounts of chemical solutions into stripping tanks.

Places articles, such as cabinets, metal furniture, and paint containers into stripping tanks and

removes articles after prescribed period of time. Fills cracks in plaster surfaces with putty or

epoxy compounds, using putty knife. Smooth surfaces to be painted, using wire brush, sandpaper,

or portable sanding and buffing equipment. Strips masking tape over surfaces not to be painted.

• 2014-Present Trinity Yachts Ship Fitter- fabricate, assemble and erect all structural parts of a

ship, coordinate all fixed tank work performed on ships. I also use heavy machinery such as plate

planners, shears, punches, drill presses, bending rolls, bending slabs, plate beveler, saws, presses,

angle roll (vertical and horizontal), and wedges. I am responsible for air testing of tanks and

compartments as well as perform grinding, drilling, and fit up operations on ships.

Skills: Blue print reading, determining what tools I need, reading comprehension, critical thinking,

mathematics, and communication skills.
