Hot Rolling Lubricants: Formulated and managed the development of synthetic, semi-synthetic, and soluble
oil type rolling lubricants for non-ferrous metals. Development also included additional process aids such as
reducing agents, rod coatings and additives with hands -on formulation as required. Broad experience with
worldwide installation and start-up and follow-up on-site evaluations.
Wire Drawing: Formulated and managed the development of lubricants for non-ferrous, stainless steel, and
alloys from rod breakdown to fine and ultra-fine sizes. Formulations included straight oil, soluble oil, semi-
synthetic as well as synthetic. Development of subsequent process chemicals for annealers and compactors.
Also managed on-site installation, start-up, and on-site, post- sales evaluations. Management of customers’
solution analysis with recommendations for process solutions.
Tube drawing: Formulated and managed the development of lubricants for aluminum and stainless steel tube
drawing.
Customer Service: Led technical section for analysis of customers’ process solutions for hot rolling, wire
drawing and tube drawing and provided subsequent recommendations/technical direction based on solution
conditions.
Quality Control: Managed Quality Control Lab, approving all batch corrections as necessary. Responsible
for modifying formulations and manufacturing instructions as necessary.
European Manufacturing: Responsible for on-site technical support and manufacturing supervision for the
transfer of domestic production to European blender.

Product Development: Developed and formulated rust preventatives for ferrous products which included:
straight oil, soluble oil, and synthetic. Developed machining and grinding fluids for ferrous and alloys.
Developed Inhibitors for sulfuric and hydrochloric acid pickling.
Quality Coordinator/Auditor: Responsible for developing a Quality System which attained ISO registration.
Responsible for all ISO documentation. Utilized statistical techniques for maintaining streamlined
processes, and recommendation of process improvements/ production changes.
