Presently working in Galfar Engineering and Contracting W.L.L Emirates, Abu

Dhabi for 7071 project construction of flow line and wellhead installation of

typical area in Asab Abu Dhabi as Assistant QC Welding Inspector for Abu Dhabi

My Responsibilities:

• Review Test Certificates of Raw materials, welding consumables.

• Review of Drawings and Preparing Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and

Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) as per ASME sec IX.

• Co-ordinate the NDT agencies to perform non destructive testing

• Witnessing Welder's Qualification for Different Process.

• Ensuring Compliance of approved Field Quality Plan (FQP) during Execution of

Job.

• Monitoring storage, baking, holding & use of Low hydrogen Electrodes.

• Review of Documents submitted by Radiography agency to carry Radiography

testing at site.

• Ensuring Calibration of Monitoring and Measuring devices prior to use.

• Witnessing Stage wise Inspection as per Drawing, FQP, Specification and

Procedure.

• Responsible for the acceptance and rejection of scheduled RFIs, attending

joint inspection with the client representatives.

• Submission of Joints Details prior to Hydro- Test.

• Responsible for Reinstatement for pipelines and equipments prior to

Commissioning

• Study of Drawings & Bill of materials.

• Inspection carried out at each and every stage.

• Preparation of Reports at the end of each and every stage.

Inspector from January 2011 to 2014 January.

• Prepare, review and verify various Testing and Welding Quality Procedures

and Inspection Test Plans as per job requirement.

• Inspection of Daily Welding Progress, carrying out NDT & Hydro- Testing.

• Examines joint to detect flaws, such as cracks, spatter, and undercuts, using

flashlight and magnifying glass.
