The following is a summary of project experience:
Customer Service Representative, Contractor Scheduling and Oversight,
Hurricane Sandy NYC Rapid Repairs Program, New York City, NY
NYC Rapid Repairs - the first program of its kind to address housing needs
after a natural disaster - the City has deployed dozens of contractors and
thousands of skilled construction workers to make emergency repairs on
residential properties affected by Hurricane Sandy. These emergency repairs
are free of charge, allowing residents to return to their homes. Emergency
repairs include the restoration of heat, power and hot water, and other
limited repairs to protect a home from further significant damage. NYC
Rapid Repair customer service responsibilities includes taking inbound
calls from the homeowners regarding complaints, issues, missed appointment
or cancelations etc. NYC Rapid Repairs customer service will then attend
the inspection of homes and as it is determined which repairs are covered
under the NYC Rapid Repairs program they will assist with any home owner
concerns. Customer service will also meet and greet with the home owners
when work begins verifying that home owners are available to allow work to
start. Over see any complaints or trouble shoot any homeowners issues with
the contractor. Coordinate missed worked dates with home owner and
contractor. Confirm priority cases and special needs homes and report to
schedule priority work crews. Insured consistent program policies and
reported daily with the Customer Service Lead and Project Manager
Project Field Lead, Hazardous/Universal Waste Segregation and Disposal,
Confidential Client, Multiple Facilities, California: Manage subcontractor
field teams tasked with performing daily hazardous and universal waste
segregation throughout Southern California. Complete Field Activity Daily
Logs to document site safety conditions. Perform safety oversight of
subcontractor field teams and report corrective actions to project
management on a daily basis. Prepare daily reports of field activities,
recommend field corrective actions, and interact with Site Managers on a
daily basis in regards to project scope and field schedules.
Compliance Specialist, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program, Southern
California Edison, Tehachapi Ca. The Segment 3B Project involves the
construction of a new 9.6 mile, 220 kilovolt Transmission Line connecting
the SCE wind generated electricity to several substations in Kern County.
Responsibilities included the implementation of prompt and effective
erosion and sediment control measures. Implementation of all non-storm
water management, including materials and waste management. Ensure proper
maintenance of BMPs and repairs as needed. Conduct or oversee storm water
inspections as required. Evaluate and initiate updates and amendments to
the SWPPP based on field inspections and scope of work. Ensure submittal of
the Annual Report and all supporting documentation to the Storm Water Multi-
Application and Report Tracking System database. Submit all Notices of
Discharge and reports of Illicit Connections or Illegal Discharges to the
Regional Water Quality Board.
Team Member, Enbridge Oil Spill, Marshall, MI, U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA). Oil Spill Response, Marshall, MI, EPA START Region
5. After a 30" pipeline (Enbridge Pipeline Company) ruptured and spilled
over 800,000 gallons of crude oil, the EPA mobilized a response team to a
25-mile stretch between Marshall and Battle Creek, Michigan. As a member
of the night shift air sampling team, monitored and sampled volatiles/air
contaminants along the Talmidge Creek and Kalamazoo River. Monitored
excavation/backfill operations around the breach, and various booms and
other materials used to contain and/or absorb the oil. Conducted daily
airboat operations with the Coast Guard and EPA Task Leaders on the river.
Duties included oversight of contractor cleanup progress, mapping new areas
for cleanup, observations of wild life activities, monitoring contractor
and public health and safety, tracking of progress and preparation of daily
reports submitted to the EPA Coordinator. Performed as an EPA
representative providing oversight of contractors during sediment and water

Team Member, Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, Grand Isle,U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA)/ Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team
(START), Region 6, Member of the air monitoring team in Grand Isle .
Responsible for documentation of site conditions and implementation of
ambient air sampling/monitoring associated with the Deepwater Horizon (DWH)
response. Conducted 24-hour sampling/monitoring for volatile organic
compounds (VOCs), hydrogen sulfide particulates, and semivolatile organic
compounds (SVOCs). Responsible for collection of quality control (QC)
samples and for calibration and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper
functioning. The equipment included Area RAEs and MultiRae instruments
used to monitor for VOCs, summa canisters utilized to collect VOC
samples, EBAMs and DataRams used to conduct real-time air monitoring of air
particulates, and PQ200 air samplers used to collect particulate samples.
Air samples were collected for SVOCs using polyurethane foam (PUF) sample
media in a high volume air sampler. Reported daily on conditions in the
area pertaining to the oil spill. Provide additional support to collect
multiple soil and water samples by boat /vehicle at various monitoring
sites near Grand Isle.
Safety Oversight Representative, Area 53 Gas Line Repair, California, Camp
Pendleton Marine Corps Base, U.S. Navy. Assisted and completed Quality
Control and Health and Safety oversight for the repair of all existing
steel and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe, and installed new polyethylene gas
pipe, located at the Marine Corps Base, Area 53, Camp Pendleton,
California. Maintained Quality Control and Quality Assurance with WESTON's
Quality Control Manager and subcontractor, and Residential Officer in
Charge of Construction (ROICC). Facilitated quality control meetings,
reports, and testing tracking system. Acted as Liaison for WESTON and
WESTON's subcontractor to the ROICC regarding work that included
maintaining traffic controls by approval of the Area 53 Provost Marshall.
Maintained good communication with the ROICC and Project Management
regarding scheduling of the existing building/facility service connections,
and tying into the mains that needed to be protected until the new gas
lines were in place. Continuous oversight of WESTON's subcontractor helped
ensure accurate as-builds and the completion of the new service connection
to the main to create the least disturbance to the building/facility.
WESTON's subcontractor provided value engineering utility changes and
performed the work with minimal outages. Complete Health and Safety
cooperation was a decided factor in the completion of Area 53 ahead of

Pier A West Interim/Source Removal Action, Long Beach, CA, Port of Long
Beach, Field Inspector and Sample Coordinator. Assist with oversight of
construction management activities / Field Inspector and Sample Coordinator
for a 120-acre site in Wilmington, California (approximate value of the
project $72 million). The site is a current oil production facility, and
was used for disposal of oil-related waste. Duties included oversight and
inspection of the removal / backfill of oil field sump material from 19
sumps, of over 350,000 tons of contaminated soil, and import of over
1,300,000 tons of clean soil. Field Inspector and acting liaison between
the contractor, subcontractors, and client regarding contractual
specification agreements. Coordination and oversight of numerous third
parties working on-site including the construction of three stormwater
detention basins and porous asphalt-based Green parking lot. Acting and
maintaining on-site compliance to multiple permits including air
monitoring, weather monitoring, and oversight of the contractors adhering
to permit conditions. Oversight and training of contractor and
subcontractors in sampling and tracking of import fill locations, and off-
site disposal and manifesting of hazardous materials. Sample Coordinator of
over 300 confirmation sidewall samples and liaison to three laboratories.
