PROJECT TITLE : Congestion Management Based OPF in

Deregulated Power Market.

DESCRIPTION : In this Deregulated Environment in the Power market it

is necessary to trace the Power flow in

transmission lines (i.e., Generator to load &

Generator to Transmission lines.).In restructured

power market there is no limitations to produce or

sold their power. Due to this Congestion will occur

in transmission lines. Congestion is violation of

power flow limit or simply known as traffic. This

Project describes how congestion will eliminated in

transmission lines by using Optimal Power Flow.

(DIET) at Anna University (University College of Engineering,

Panrutti) on 21st march 2014 .
