INTRODUCTION
Obtain a phlebotomist position in a healthcare related organization that
allows opportunities for professional growth and application of my
education, skills and training. I have experience with practicing
phlebotomy in both nursing homes and doctor's offices. I have successfully
drawn patients ranging from children to geriatric age groups. Comfortable
to quickly adapting to varied venipuncture site as per patient. I'm
conscientious, take my assignments seriously and am a team player who
enjoys working with others. I enjoy learning new skills and maintain a

LabCorp). Prepares laboratory specimens (e.g. serum, stool, semen, urine,
tissue, etc.) for designated departments/locations prior to laboratory
analysis and testing. Unpacks specimens from branches or ports and routes
specimens by type to various staging areas. Prepares all specimens received
for testing in designated laboratory departments or locations such as
staging of specimens, centrifuge, separate serum, and blood smears.
Aliquots sample for departments. Prepares excess specimen samples for
storage and resolves and document problem specimens. May also be assigned
to Imaging requisitions, and capping specimen aliquots

Worked as a phlebotomist with DrsChoiceFirst phlebotomy starting off as a
travelling phlebotomist in Jacksonville, FL. Traveled to surrounding
nursing home facilities to collect the morning draws. Experience includes
working with staff at each facility to ensure the patients and specimens to
be drawn were correct and available upon arrival by verifying patient
demographics and lab tests ordered as recorded on the Lab Requisition.
Included picking up "stat" specimen collections and bringing them to the
hospital to process as quickly as possible. Was transferred to Wichita, KS
to help open a laboratory in a doctor's office for a clinic. Worked with
