Create new CAD drawings for quotes for sales and manufacturing. Examine drawings
for errors. Assign new part numbers and enter into manufacturing software with
new Bill of Material and Routings. Forklift instructor. Fill in on manual machines as
needed. Review all jobs prior to closing to verify all operations are complete, then
close jobs at month end. Understanding of mechanical testing practices, like tensile
and charpy.
Quality Control Manager, 1999 - 2009
Responsible for receiving, in process and final inspection department. Managed all
inspectors. Point of contact for all ISO Audits. Created Corrective actions in result of
Audits, Responsible for calibration of all gages and OD micrometers. Die Penetrant,
Wet Mag inspection and UT inspection, Company certified forklift instructor for shop
employees and oversee forklift maintenance. Responsible to insuring drawing
changes were implemented and revisions updated.
Lead Machinist, 1991 - 1999
Set up and programmed CNC Fanuc Control machines. Ran Drill Presses, engine
lathes and turret lathes OD and ID profile grinders. Ground and made custom tooling
for machined parts. Assemble and tested finished product for orders.

Mr. Lord was employed by Best Flow Line Equipment, L.P. (f/k/a Best Swivel Joints) for 23
years in a variety o f capacities. Most recently, Mr. Lord worked in our engineering department,
but worked originally as a CNC machinist and in between worked in plant maintenance as well
as in our quality department. As a result, he has widespread experience and expertise in many
areas o f manufacturing. Mr. Lord performed well in all these areas, resulting in his continued
employment by us for all those years. He was a trustworthy and loyal employee who took his
job responsibilities seriously and did a very good job. Unfortunately, our company has been
impacted severely by the recent collapse o f oil prices, so that we recently had to terminate his
employment with us.
In summary, I would highly recommend Mr. Lord for employment in any manufacturing
environment, but most particularly, in the manufacturing o f oilfield products where his
experience would be o f the most value.
