PROPERTY MANAGER OF RESIDENTIAL HOUSING
This nationally recognized non profit organization assists New Yorkers most vulnerable: the homeless, People with
mental illness, substance abuse and HIV/ AIDS. The portfolio consisted of 1,200 scattered site housing units; senior
housing & supported housing development.
• In an organization with a constantly growing portfolio, eager to establish a Property Management Division, I
brought my wealth of expertise and experience to the residential management team.
• I quickly moved to assess and then establish a rent collection action plan to address the high level of rent
arrears. Within six months of joining the organization a 30% decrease in overall portfolio arrears was accomplished.
• I quickly move to resolve issues in areas that were unaddressed: I work with staff to improve tenant relations,
scattered site apartment conditions and finding quality apartment rentals. Created reports to gauge portfolio

Continually reviewed policy/procedure to ensure compliance and monitor construction projects and capital work. I
quickly moved to set a tone of accountability/responsibility with both Maintenance and Residents.
