project is CVA. CVA receives data from various upstream

credit spread, Credit upfront etc. related information. CVA

project performed scoping and transformation on received data

so that CVA & Pnl charge can be calculated for

counterparties. CVA sends all the collected data to Specific

Risk Engine, which calculates CVA charge & Pnl for all

counterparties and sends data back to CVA.

This application is used to evaluate the market risk related

to any counter party, which are involved in various trading

activities using other upstream systems. This application

extensively provides facility to prepare real time reports

Abstract which includes RDX, RegW, Mpgs, Cvatrader & CVATW. Rdx is a

data processing and pricing application, which accepts

trading EOD data from various trading applications, process

it to consolidate based on trades, accounts and

counterparties and calculate Pv/notional. Regw is a

regulatory supporting project which emphasis on applying

certain regulatory standard for the counterparties based on

associated risks. Market Process Generation Service (MPGS) is

a project, which is used to generate market data for various

IR, Fx, credit curves by filtering & applying information

from various market data real time servers. Cvatrader is a

legacy application, which allows user to calculation CVA for

selected counterparties based on base data (flown through

Rdx) and market data (created through MPGS). CVA Trader

Workstation (CVATW) is end user application used by Morgan

Stanley business users across the globe to view, manage and

hedge the counterparty risk of the firm. This application

provides the facility to view Counterparties Risk, P&L,
