Academic Information
Medicine in Damascus University is a six-year program, which is devided into two
three-year phases; Preclinical phase and the clinical phase.
The sixth year is a rotating internship year.
At the End of this internship year, the National Medical Exam takes place in Order to
qualify for the Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D).
