Consultant, Project Manager: Supervised project team that managed and acquired assets for a large utility
company. Project encompassed over 1,000 acres and over 400 residential and commercial sites. Project also
included the acquisition of water rights, community outreach, escrow and title management, risk mitigation for active
litigation, management of environmental impacts and strategic planning for future development.

Consultant, Vice President, Asset Management: Provided management of distressed real estate assets in a receiver
role for regional and national financial institutions. Services involved leading the transition phase, due diligence and

Project Manager: Guided the Phase 1 completion of a 2,000 acre master plan development in north Los Angeles County
originally entitled for 4,500 homes, 2 elementary schools, 1 fire station, several community parks and planned retail. Project
was formerly owned by Empire Companies.
Worked directly with city staff and third-party consultants to creatively explore original development
agreement and strategic plans for the project to move forward. Successfully managed the completion
of improvements necessary for a resolution to the release of Phase 1 CFD reimbursements.

EMPIRE COMPANIES, Ontario, California • 2005 – 2008
Real estate company specializing in residential and commercial management and development.
Project Director: Demonstrated leadership through management of development projects in stages ranging from planning
and entitlements to construction, lease-up and sale. Responsibilities included strategy, local, state and federal agencies,
financial analysis and budget control, site control and management of all third-party consultant. Projects included 3 regional
shopping center developments totaling 272,000 square feet, entitlements for a 6-story office building totaling 152,000 square
feet and master plan communities totaling 2,300 acres and 5,700 units.
Facilitated successful contract with a new capital partner on a 2,000 acre master plan development .
Achieved Final EIR and rezoning approval on 2 contentious parcels totaling 26 acres for 2 regional
shopping centers in north Los Angeles County
Asset Manager: Directed third-party management of 11 operating company assets, including 5 shopping centers totaling over
407,000 square feet and 105 tenants, 1 office building totaling 79,000 square feet and 11 tenants, 4 multi-family properties
totaling 984 units and 1 self-storage asset in California and Arizona. Managed lease negotiations and tenant improvements.
Supervised teams from Cushman & Wakefield for property management of office and retail assets and Riverstone for property
management of multi-family assets.
Increased net operating income for multi-family portfolio by 15.2% while increasing occupancy to
98%. Increased net operating income for retail assets by 12% and occupancy improved to over 94%
RREEF, Anaheim, California • 2001 – 2005
Investment management arm of Deutsche Bank’s Asset Management Division and real estate investment advisor with more
than $35B in assets under management in the US.
District Portfolio Manager: Exceeded expectations through management of Los Angeles and Orange County-based property
portfolio involving 4.2 million square feet and 330 tenants.
Oversaw renovations, expansions, and operations management of large industrial distribution centers and multi-tenant parks
to include performance of leasing administration, management of tenant retention programs and brokerage teams, and
provision of budget control. Headed $5.5M renovation project for 500,000 square feet of second-generation industrial space.
Negotiated 174 lease transactions involving 1.6 million square feet and assets in excess of $72M.
Organized open house for renovated industrial space in north Orange County which resulted in one of
the largest turnouts in the market. Over 350 brokers attended which led to 2 leases for more than
250,000 square feet.
Expanded net operating income for portfolio by 13.6% while increasing occupancy to more than 94%.
