Duties & Responsibilities
Familiar with all international codes and standards with respect to welding
inspect and QA/QC activity for boiler pressure vessel manufacturing.
Pipeline construction.
All common welding processes like SMAW, GTAW, SAW, & GMAW. Inspection of
surface preparation on pressure vessels, piping, storage tanks and
structure.
Witness the testing of various NDT methods and maintain the certification
record. Standards used, ASME B 31.3, API 1104, ASME SEC IX, ASME Sec V, and
AWS D1.1.
Monitoring of welder performance by preparing welder repair.
To Performing the incoming raw materials inspection and verification of
material traceability and test certificates.
Stage wise inspection as per Inspection Test Plan (ITP). Final Dispatch
witnessed as per Checklist.
Periodical review of repair percentage of production welds and reducing the
repairs. Co-ordination with client and third party inspection.
Preparation and compilation of documentation relating to all
inspection activities such as material certification, welding, NDT,
pressure testing etc. for client submittal.
Radiographic film review and witnessing magnetic particle and dye penetrant
testing carried out by Independent NDT agencies.
To prepare the NDT offer list as per the NDT requirements. Supervision of
NDT Inspections like RT, UT, MPT & LPT. NDT analyze and Evaluation as per
International Standard.
