Currently I am responsible for the daily service and delivery aspects of

Suburban Propane. Duties include taking supply inventory and the

ordering of product to provide adequate supply for a seven day period.

Overseeing drivers and technicians to ensure they are following proper

procedure and policies. Coordinate with the Distribution Center to provide

coverage for planned routes. Review daily paperwork including pre-post

trip vehicle inspections, work orders and end of route delivery reports.

Also responsible for fleet maintenance and scheduling with service shops

to conduct service work. Responsible for distributing random

drug/alcohol testing when requested. Random spot inspections of vehicles

to ensure that delivery hoses are safe and that safety features are

functioning to reduce or eliminate and violations that could arise from a

Roadside Inspection. Conduct monthly safety meetings with the three

locations that I have reporting to me. Provide yearly employee evaluations

to the 15 direct reports that I am responsible for. Site visits to each

location weekly and do spot inspections of the yards to make sure safety

protocols are being followed. Purchase material for jobs and any supplies

needed for daily operations. Forward paperwork and reports to the correct

people, whether it is daily, weekly or monthly to maintain audit

compliance. Maintain a working relationship with the Safety and Training

Manager to address any issues that arise and to provide guidance to

employees. Assist employees who hold CDL’s maintain their credentials

and keep within Federal and State guidelines. Work with Branch Manager

and other Operation Manager on Profit and Loss and our Controlled

Assets to meet our budgeting goals. Provide a close watch on hours

worked by employees to keep overtime at a minimum unless it is required.

Currently hold a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Air Brake Endorsement.
