Utilized the nursing process in planning care for patients on a telemetry unit. Performed care for up to
three patients and gained skills in administering medications, dressing changes, isolation protocols, post
cardiac catheterization care and monitoring, documentations, interventions, and cardiac rhythm strips.

Psychiatric Norristown State Hospital, Norristown, PA

Cared for male adults with a variety of chronic mental disorders and prior alcohol and drug abuse in a
psychiatric hospital. Gained trust with the residents and maintained a therapeutic relationship with the
residents. Taught about self esteem while working individually and in groups. Responded in quick thinking
in hostile situations and took appropriate interventions to calm the other residents down.

Cared for up to three clients on a surgical floor. Gained skills in piggyback IVs, J Peg tube care, wound
care and assessments, communicating with different cultures, communicating with doctors and pharmacy,
