To whom it may concern,
Please accept the enclosed copies of my resume and cover letter for your
consideration as an employment candidate for a Student Support Worker in
your establishment. I am confident in my work ethic as well as the skills
I have acquired over time at my various places of work, and feel I would be
a valuable addition to your team.
As a third year nursing student at the University of Windsor, I have
received the opportunity to treat difficult patients with a wide array of
health and mental complications. I have had clinical experience at Chateau
Park, a long term care facility in Windsor in which I practiced assisting
clients with personal hygiene, observing physical, emotional and cognitive
changes as well as demonstrated interest in working with the geriatric
population. My clinical experiences also consist of working in Windsor
Regional Hospital on the units: respiratory, obstetrics, paediatrics,
oncology and telemetry. My time management, assessment and organizational
skills have progressed through the vast areas of placements I have
encountered. I have also worked at Camp Brebeuf as a Wellness Coordinator
for two consecutive summers. In this position I developed leadership
skills, used communication and organization to perform emergency first aid,
health assessments, and administered medications. I believe I have the
experience and leadership skills that is required to be a Student Support
Worker in your establishment and feel that I would make an excellent
addition to your healthcare team if given the opportunity.
I look forward to being given the chance to reinforce what I have stated
here and demonstrate how valuable I can be in the workplace. Should you
have any questions you can contact me at 519-***-**** or at
*******@********.**. Thank you for taking the time to review my application
and considering me as a candidate for this position.
Sincerely,
Karina Jichici
