I have the knowledge and skills to be an asset to any company. I have a
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration with a long term care
emphasis as well as much experience as a licensed practical nurse in a
variety of settings. I would like the opportunity work in a team oriented
environment that acknowledges my worth, work ethic and skills with a chance

share my passion for Geriatrics and for those who advocate for them.
I have experience in all aspects of management including: operations,
budgeting, payroll, hiring, training, orientation, scheduling, and employee

While employed as the Director of Resident Care at Hickory Gardens Assisted
Living, I assisted in raising the occupancy rate from 80% to 100% with an
active waiting list. I also helped reduced staff turn-over from >100% to
<10% in 2 years. In March, 2010, my Administrator and I obtained the
achievement of Presidential honor club member for the Assisted Living
division which included 90 facilities.
As the Executive Director/Administrator for Grace Manor Assisted Living, I
was effective in pre-leasing a new facility to start on opening day with 9
residents with 2 additional residents to follow, for a total of 11 deposits
prior to opening the facility. Seven months after opening, we achieved 31
occupants with 4 on hand deposits with a license for 46. I also maintained
a stable staff as well as stayed within a pre-set operating budget which I
helped produce. I have extensive knowledge and very familiar with and
operate per State of Tennessee Department of Health Guidelines for Assisted
Living facilities. I am also well versed in Medicaid/TennCare and CHOICES
guidelines as well as Medicare and many other health insurance plans.
