I repaired implements used in the concreting industry like corebits using the gas welding process I also fabricated

steel platforms for concrete cutters using structural steel and the Mig welding process these were used for customer

transporting purposes thus providing outstanding customer service.

The above duties were done by accurately reading understanding and

carried out written instructions.

I always adhered to the health and safety rules and regulations whilst

doing my duties and applying the same in as far as my co-workers were concerned.

Welder First Class., 04/2000 to 09/2002

Australian Winch & Haulage – Woodpark Road Smithfield NSW.

My duties were to weld heavy duty structures like winches and heavy duty overhead cranes fabricated out of very

thick steel the welds had to be X-Ray quality.

I used the Mig and stick (Low Hydrogen) processes including using a

Air/Carbon gouger in the welding of all structures.

I also did some welding on the Olympic Cauldron and other platforms

used in the Olympics.

I always accurately read understood, and carried out written instructions and also attended monthly safety

meetings.

I communicated operational issues and changes to supervisor on regular basis.
