In the past 2 years we took a church that the average age of the adherents was 80 years old with no children's
ministry to the average of 45 with families with children and grandchildren. God
used us to take the church from being an inward focused church to a church that reached out to the community
to make a difference, by feeding them, and praying for them.
Ministry Experience: We believe in the 5 fold ministry of Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship,
Fellowship and Ministry.
Worship is not music but all that incorporates adoration towards God. We provided an atmosphere of worship
in song that was designed for different Generations and genre of music.
As a small church I lead worship, from learning to do Hymns, to songs by Chris Tomlin and
Jeremy Camp.
Evangelism:
Took a job at Starbucks to help with the finances and reach out to the community. Went to several
establishments and was well known and many people came from those place because the
truest form of Evangelism is building relationships, as well as on call Chaplin at the local
Hospital (KRMC)
Discipleship
Wednesday night teachings with John Bevere as well as Sunday night small groups. In depth
teachings with Membership.
Fellowship
Potlucks on Sundays, Easter, Christmas outreach dinner, Thanksgiving outreach Dinner.
Wednesday nights when starting a new series. BBQ's and July 4 BBQ Dinner at our house.

Construction - church was dated back to the early 80's and did repairs ourselves as well as members of the
church helped.
Administration:
Bookkeeping- church used a ledger sheet and 3 separate bank accounts and savings accounts.
Rachel and I Combined all accounts into one and purchased computers for bookkeeping as well as Servant
Keeper software for all contributions. Used Money Counts 9.0 for use of banking.

Youth Pastor: I came on staff as youth pastor. The music minister's daughter became ill and needed to be in
Phoenix for 4 months, I then was asked to step up and continue with leading worship

While I was there, we installed 2 27" televisions from the ceiling and began to use PowerPoint for their
announcements, songs, and sermon points. As a church we put up a privacy wall for youth room to give them
their own room. During that time we had a youth lock-in for new years eve.
