Director of Operations & Data Center Subject Matter Expert
Managed day-to-day operations and oversaw the development, implementation, and optimization of iConnect’s multiple mission-critical enterprise data center facilities across the region and achieved a highly reliable service. Assisted with administering the design, marketing, sales, and quality of iConnect Montana’s products and services while maintaining and ensuring the company mission, strategy, and its long and short term goals were achieved.
Key Accomplishments:
* Managed the design and worked with subcontractors to construct a 47,000 sq. ft. Tier III+ data center and achieved a significant cost savings of upwards of $20 million.
* Won a national competition by capturing the business of several international companies (Expedia, Hotwire, and Live Journal) and propelling the data center into profitability and demonstrated their best value and high reliability.
Telecommunications Staffer & Subject Matter Expert
Provided subject matter expertise (SME) to the Rural Telecommunications Association (MITS) on matters concerning Telecommunications, Information Technology Internet technology, Wireless Services, and Public Safety for presentation before the Public Service Commission, State Legislature and Federal Communications Commission.

* Performed an inventory of all the State’s Public Safety Access Points (PSAPs) wireless push to talk and control infrastructure equipment to assist the State of Montana’s organizational effort to centralize 911 services under a common interoperable architecture.
