Teaching Practice
English International School Moscow East, 66A Zeleny Prospect, Moscow,
Russia,
Teacher of Art/ Display coordinator/ World Studies/Sport
In my most recent position I was the sole teacher of Art for KS1, KS2, KS3,
KS4, GCSE and AS Level. In addition I have also taught KS3 World Studies
(PSHE) and outdoor activities. I oversaw and helped coordinate displays
around the school. As EIS is a growing and developing school I was able to
establish classroom routines, assessment, planning and schemes of work from
scratch. I introduced the students to new learning strategies to help them
develop individual skill and technique. In addition, I held a big draw
project every year for the whole school to participate in; I entered
students into art competitions, developed in house art projects and held
extra lessons at lunch and in activities.
