Dear hiring agent at the Milton Hershey School,

I am applying for the job of Flex Transitional Living Assistant. In December of 2014, I

will have my Bachelors degree in Sociology and Anthropology with a minor in Criminal Justice.

I have many qualifications that would make this job a perfect fit for me. I am well organized and

enjoy working with students. I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,

SPSS, and with social media. I am also proficient at analyzing situations and coming up with a

solution that is best for all parties involved. I have lived in a dorm setting for the past 3 years

which makes me quite familiar with the interworking of dorm life. Since I will be a recent

college graduate I can help students come to terms with what college is like after high school. I

spearheaded and organized the Red Flag Campaign on dating violence at Mansfield University

this past October which was a success. Through this experience I have become proficient in

organizing panel discussions, bring in outside speakers, and marketing the event to get the

program out on campus and into the community. With this experience I am confident that I will

be able to contribute to refinement of programs as well as implement new programs. I have also

been a treasure of two clubs on campus as well as being a cashier which has taught me

proficiency in setting up budgets, and handling money. I have experience in mentoring and

advising students on what classes to take and activities they should participate in to maximize

their learning experience and prepare them for their future career.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Respectfully,

Ariana Emenheiser
