> Design Rectangular Patch Antenna with help of HFSS Software

Aim - To increase the bandwidth and directivity of a

rectangular patch antenna.

Bandwidth can be increased by using parasitic patch and air gap

between ground plane and feed patch . Directivity can be

increased by using multilayer dielectric covered layer structure

and increasing patch dimension. This type of antenna is used in

personal communication system, mobile satellite communication,

direct broadband television, wireless local area

networks(WLANs).
