and concrete paving. Bid and contracted City, County and State DOT projects plus attended monthly, State DOT
lettings.
Owned and operated a rock quarry, two portable concrete patch plants and two permanent asphalt plants. Scanned
Dodge micro film for projects of interest, picked up plans and specs, take offs using AGTEK and INSITE Digitized
programs.

Visited sites to bid, inspected site conditions, areas for fill and ill availability, disposal of haul off. Established the
cost of the project and alternates for cost effectiveness, reviewed with VP and/or President, did check and balance on
the estimates: quantities, areas, labor, material, equipment, schedule, expenses, budget, overhead and profit. Bid one to
five projects most days.

Estimating and management of multiple out of the ground free standing new restaurant sites and structures. Project
Manager of four new structures at any given time and was number two man in chain of command. Clients included
Wendy's International and franchisee's, primarily in Texas and Oklahoma. Other client's: Burger King, Jack in the Box,
Popeye's, numerous out of the ground high end Chinese restaurants throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Various remodels
and renovations were completed on dining rooms, mansard replacements and solarium additions.
Duties included pre construction negotiations, detailed takeoffs, value engineering, contract scope writing, made site
progress inspections, coordinated material deliveries, communicated, wrote and/or disseminated project reports and
documentation to the President and Principals., Owner's, Superintendents, Office Staff, Owner's and Architect's.
Acquired and maintained: permits, approved plans for construction and as-built plans. Reviewed, documented and
managed alternates, contract closeouts documents, subcontracts, scopes of work, scheduling, schedule of values.

requisitions. Project payment authorizations, field errors, subcontractor errors, inspection results, delays, minutes,
