INDIA YAMAHA MOTOR (IYM) :- (JUNE 2012 - PRESENT)

Yamaha made its initial foray into India in 1985. Subsequently, it entered

into a 50:50 joint-venture with the Escorts Group in 1996. However, in

August 2001, Yamaha acquired its remaining stake becoming a 100% subsidiary

of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd, Japan (YMC). In 2008, Mitsui & Co., Ltd. entered

into an agreement with YMC to become a joint-investor in the motorcycle

manufacturing company "India Yamaha Motor Private Limited (IYM)".

IYM operates from its state-of-the-art manufacturing units at Surajpur in

Uttar Pradesh and Faridabad in Haryana and produces motorcycles for both

domestic and export markets. A new plant is under establishment in Chennai

mainly for scooter & export market.

SKH METALS LIMITED :- (MAY 2011 - JUNE 2012)

SKH Metals Limited (Formerly known as Mark Auto Industries.) is an ISO/TS-

16949:2008, ISO 14001:2008 certified company's Metals Limited is a group

company of Deming Certified Krishna Maruti Limited (KML) & Joint Venture

Company of Maruti Suzuki Ltd.

The Company is manufacturing automotive Fuel Tanks, Suspension Systems,

Axle Housing, Seat Frames and Sheet Metal Pressed and Welded parts. Major

customers are

Maruti Udyog Limited at gurgaon, General Motors, Fiat, Spice and

VOLKSWAGEN PUNE. RENAULT NISSAN is the new customer added to the group.

1. Mould changeover time reduction from 90 min to 17 min on 250T

presses & 30 min to 18 min for 120 -160T presses in IYM SJP

2. Increased OEE from 77.26% (Avg 2012) to 85% (Avg 2013)

3. Responsible for PRESS SHOP PLANNING & MONITERING throughout the

IYM manufacturing unit to muffler, frame and fuel tank lines.

4. COST SAVING (VAVE):-Coordinating the with a team of 9 people

(both from press shop and tool room) to find and implement

cost saving ideas.

5. TOOL IMOROVMENT :- A Team member in tool improvement plan 2011-

12 in SKH SMC Pune

6. Successfully Achieved the production target from 4 SPM to 6 SPM

7. Completed internal auditor course for TS-16949 from VINCOTTE

INTERNATIONAL.

8. Completed Internal auditor course for EMS 14001 from VINCOTTE
