PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I have vast HSE background in Supervision and Management roles. I have

worked as an Safety Supervisor, Safety Officer, HSE Manager and OHSE

Specialist across a wide variety of fields in civil construction,

structural/mechanical, installation of deepwater Pipeline End Termination

(EPCIC), heavy fabrication, shipyard (barges, tug boats, oil rigs, merchant ships),

high rise buildings (once tallest building in the world Petronas Twin Towers 1 &

2), heavy fabrication, high rise buildings, manufacturing industry as well as in

facilities construction.

Over the course of my career I have demonstrated exceptional written and verbal

communication skills combined with efficient skills in HSE & Security on projects

for which I have been responsible & accountable. My experience as an HSE

professional on large scale projects ensures full knowledge with company HSE &

Security requirements and a strong commitment to the completion of projects

with “Zero Harm” to personnel, asset or the environment.

enforced, implemented and monitored:

Experience with OHSAS 18000, ISO 14000 and ISO 9000

Developed & implemented Safety Management Plans(SMP), work

procedures, training programmes, safety alerts, incentives schemes

across a variety of industries/projects

Noise monitoring conducted periodically

Keep records on MSDS and the updates

Ensure proper training provided on the handling of chemicals

Ensuring close out of audit findings through follow-up audits

Setting HSE task and targets for team leaders, Supervisors, Managers as

outlined by the Yearly HSE Plan

Conduct periodical HSE meetings, dissemination of HSE elements,

Lead the EMS audit team as a Lead Auditor

Carry out gap analysis for sub-contractor safety management plan,

documentation and procedure during tender stage. Carryout SEQ

(Subcontractor Evaluation Questionnaire) document approvals and

support tender team/ Contracts Manager for approval process prior

engaging contractors

Provide resources and information with regards to HSE practices e.g.

adherence to government regulations, meeting customer requirements

with regards to standards and practices

Maintaining all HSE related changes, updates and revisions

Report directly to the Managing Director

Coordinate OSHE issues with DOSH/DOE any other local authorities

Act as the Secretary for Safety & Health Committee

Investigate serious accident, dangerous occurrences and occupational

Conduct High Risk Workshops pre-construction, review & analysis all work

activity and feedback to line managers, superintendent and supervisor.

Providing assistance to the project in the preparation and implementation

of all HSE & Security deliverables

Responsible for HSE & Security implementation for all

management/workers & subcontractor.(Current project 1400 staff/workers

and subcontractor personnel on site.

Coordinate training programs with training coordinator (including CIDB

with company / client on onshore & offshore activities impacting QHSE

requirements, standards or KPIs.

Tendering / Bidding for new projects and resolve technical QHSE queries

with potential clients.

To coordinate with consultants, local authorities, contractor, local

community and sub-contractors.

To plan, implement and monitor the projects to ensure compliance within

budget, quality, safety and requirements.

Familiar with project development processes, priorities and procedures to

ensure timely completion and delivery with minimum HSE impacts.

Coordinate with Clients’ Manager and co-ordinate QHSE compliance

contractors within QHSE Management System (Emergencies, Firefighting,

drills & use of emergency equipment).

Prepared & submit project weekly/monthly reports to senior management

and client. Report the Lag and Leading Indicators performances and

review with senior management team

Conduct audit, fatigue assessment and non-compliances

Carryout inspections of the worksite with senior management,

superintendent, supervisors & client.

Carryout schedule internal and external audits

Support & advice the site HSR (Health & Safety Representative)

committee

Actively promote and mentor leadership programs in the field and

influence appropriate HSE behaviors to achieve company values and

principles

Manage HSE department direct reports inclusive of training team and
