Hello there, thanks for taking the time to read my resume today. My name is German Esturban, I am 21 years old and

currently studying to become an IT Professional. I currently am self employed, and run a small Computer repair/Networking

business. I am overall a goal oriented individual, I view life accomplishments as evidence of where hard work and

consistency can lead you. I am currently not enrolled in school but will return in the spring semester of 2015 to finish my BA

in Computer Science. I have been doing software/hardware repair fulltime for the last 2 years and a half. I’m an easy going

guy, and I enjoying working with a team that believes and values the importance of IT industry.

Experience

Westside Computer Technicians, Los Angeles, CA Dec, 2012

At Westside Computer Technicians I am the lead computer technician. My job revolves around taking new customers,

sales, computer repair hardware/software, troubleshooting, build custom machines, networking, servers, and managing

other technicians on some occasions. I have worked with multiple platforms and all kinds of different computer

equipment.

I started this company with a friend of mine who had reason to believe I was the perfect person to begin this venture

with, turns out he was right. However he wasn't right about him persevering with it. He dropped out the race 8 months in

to it and I chad no choice but to completely take over. Since 2012 I have been doing my best to grow along with the

business. I have created some good relationships with clients, and have gain there trust and usually they depend on me

for advice on their technology needs.

I have worked with a lot of smaller operations such as: 2 6 workstations, 1 Server, network with multiple devices and etc.

I have worked with a variety of platforms; most common ones are Microsoft and Apple Macintosh and OSX.

I have also done work for Chili’s Restaurant, Big Wang’s, and AMC Theater in Woodland Hills, however these jobs were

My job was to know how to make all their signature drinks like the Frappichinio or the Carmel Macchiato. We also did

lots of cleaning to maintain the store up to city code, and store policy. Very simple and fun job where you can meet and

network with a lot of great people.

Customer service is still essential and very important part of the job. Our customer service is what guarantees the

customer will come back or not. In the times that I had issues with customer at this job was only merely due to the person

trying to give us counterfeit money to pay for a $50 plus order.

I was fired from Starbucks in July 2013 due to my absences. I guess I can admit I had much fault to do with this, since at

the time before I got fired I was going through some family issues. The house my grandma was paying rent for got

foreclosure and I was left homeless for about a week. Jumping around from house to house I was late twice, and I was on

my last warning at work to not be late. And one day I show up 10 mins late, and bam! That was my last day at Starbucks,

also the first time I was ever fired.

At Staples I was Sales Specialist and Cashier. I spent most of my days in being a cashier and costumer service rep. My

manger also insisted on us taking advantage of upselling insurance plans for customers buying technology goods.

In cases of slow traffic of customers we would do retail oriented things like, stocking, organizing, returns, ink recycling,

keeping the front store clean and maintained. Ready for customers and anyone who walked in.

I resigned because I was offered the Starbucks job.

Comedy Traffic Safety School Consultancy, Panorama, CA Aug, 2011 Mar 2012

This was a fun job for a reason I had fun co workers that all got along really great. This was a call center for one of the

biggest Comedy Traffic Schools in CA. I was responsible for providing quality support and service for the three different

types of Traffic School they offered; physical attendance classes, Nationwide Online program, and Home Study program.

Usually we had students calling us to schedule a traffic school class near their area to make up tickets or court

requirements or for insurance purposes. For the Internet courses because they were nationwide there was a little more

variety of people we helped and the problems they encountered. It was mostly providing customer service, and a small

amount of telemarketing. I really didn’t want to leave the job, but I had to search something that gave me more than

20hrs.

I am skillful with computers and technology. I have experience in customer service, sales, and point of sale. I am familiar

with software such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Publisher, Anti Virus, Back Up, Windows ME, 98, 2000, XP, Vista, 7,8, 8.1,

Macintosh OSX 10.4 10.8, Clonezilla, Logmein, Lunix, Acronis, Carbonite, AOMEI, and QuickBooks. I have great

communication skills, over the phone and in person. I have operated in retail environments, and one on one sales

environment. I am a team player but I can also get the job done alone if required. I might not know it all, but I am a throe and

a speedy leaner.
