I had been joined Acwa Power Sasakura on August 2007 with position of Engineering manager and
since that time till present I am involving for the followings:
1. Engineering Management: Basic, Detailed Design, manufacturing, construction
drawings and As-Built-Drawings.
2. Review of tender documents, including technical specifications and contract
conditions.

3. Undertaking site visits of the projects to be tendered.
4. Submit deviation/clarification list to client.
5. Formulation, Negotiation, Finalization, and Administration of Contracts.
6. Sub-vender prequalification.
7. Reviewing offers received from suppliers for incorporation in the final proposal.
8. Undertaking technical and commercial evaluation of received quotations.
9. Costing, Estimation and Bidding Projects.
10. Active participation in the preparation of the final commercial and technical submittal
to the clients.
11. Participation in construction management: Preparation of Construction Manual,
Construction Supervision, Testing & Commissioning, and Operations & Maintenance.
12. Participation and helping in project Management: Phasing Project, Planning, Tracking

Executed Projects Under My Supervision:
1. Turn key project of the new satellite desalination plants MED Type
(Multi-Effect distillation) in six sites (Al-Wajh 9000M3/D, Ummlujj
9000M3/D, Rabigh 18000M3/D, Al-Lith 9000M3/D, Qunfuda 9000M3/D
and Farasan 9000M3/D), Client: Saline Water Conversion Corporation,
in the western coast of Saudi Arabia, 2006 ~ 2010.
2. Rehabilitation of two desalination plants (1&2) at Rabigh power plant
SEC / WOA. Client: Saudi Electricity Company, 2009 ~ 2010.
3. Shuaiba Desalination Plant phase # 1, Re-tubing of (Ten Evaporators
Units), Client: Saline Water Conversion Corporation, in the western
coast of Saudi Arabia, 2011 ~ 2014.

Since 2007 to date : Engineering Manager of Arabian Company and Sasakura for Water
& Power at ACWA Power Sasakura, Saudi Arabia.
Since 2004 to 2007 : Associate Professor in the faculty of Mechanical Engineering at
king Khalid University, Saudi Arabia.
Teaching Courses : Power and Desalination plants, Heat Transfer,
Thermodynamics I & II, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering
Drawings, Graduating Power Engineering Projects.
Also, I had been participated and supervised several academic committees
during teaching in the university.
Since 2003 to 2004 Working as invited Ph.D. Graduated Researcher in the Mechanical
Department of Faculty of Engineering, Kobe University, Japan.

Since 2000 to 2003 : Ph.D Engineering Course in order to obtain doctorate of philosophy
in Resource and Energy Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Since 1999 to 2000 : Japanese language course at Kobe International Center of Foreign

Since 1994 to 1999 Maintenance Chief Engineer at Jandar Power Station, 700 MW
Combined Cycle Power Plant, Ministry of Electricity of Syria.
The plant is a 700 MW combined cycle which constructed as turn-key delivery of
Mitsubishi heavy industries Ltd, where I had been responsible for the followings:
- Testing and commissioning of two combined cycle blocks.
- Inspection & maintenance of gas turbines & steam turbines.
- Inspection & maintenance of BOP (Balance of Plant).
Also, I had been attended and completed the under mentioned training courses in Japan
& Egypt during this time:
October 17, 1994 to December 2, 1994: Maintenance training course for Jandar
combined cycle power plant. ( Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Takasago
Machinery Works, JAPAN ).
November 2, 1996 to December 12, 1996: Operational of Gas Turbine combined
cycle & Maintenance. Middle Delta Zone Training Center. EGYPT.
November 17, 1997 to December 19, 1997: Maintenance and Operating training
course for Jandar combined cycle power plant. ( Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
Takasago Machinery Works, JAPAN ).
September 1994 to February 1997: Testing and Commissioning, Inspection and
Maintenance of Jandar combined cycle power plant. EKONO Energy Jandar
power team, local branch of Finnish company EKONO ENERGY LTD. FINLAND.
1994 : Master degree in Thermal Power Engineering.
Since 1989 to 1994 : Bachelor Engineering Course in mechanical engineering, in order to
obtain degree of bachelor in Thermal-Energy Engineering.
