PROJECT

TITLE: REACTIVE POWER CONTROL IN TRANSMISSION LINE USING MATRIX

CONVERTER POWERED BY WIND GENERATOR

The project deals about the reactive power control in the transmission line using matrix

converter. The renewable wind energy is used for powering the matrix converter. Matrix

converter deals with ac/ac converter with variable frequency. Without using the FACTS device

reactive power in the supply gets reduced by using matrix converter and a high real power with

maximum power factor is given to the load.
