Federal Center in Battle Creek, Michigan. The project includes the

replacement of 3 high pressure boilers with high efficiency low pressure

boilers. The project also includes the modification of chilled water and

hot water piping systems. The project also includes the replacement of

lighting fixtures and bulbs for more energy saving fixtures. The project

also includes the installation of variable frequency drives for all the

motors related to AHU's and pumps. The project also includes the

installation of night set back valves for after-hours set temperatures both

in heating and cooling season. The project also includes the upgrading of

the control system to increase the energy saving. The project also includes

saving of water by installing new flush valves and aerators.

Management of all aspects of design and construction, Material ordering,

Installation, Testing and commissioning of 3 central utility plants.

Utility plants comprise of 16 chillers each having a capacity of 2,500 TR

and 20 generating sets each having a capacity of 5.6 MVA with all piping

networks for both the chiller systems and generating sets. . The work

includes the supervision of all staff and coordinating with different

suppliers and subcontractors also with the owner representative and design

consultants and other contractors. The work includes the supervision of

manpower (around 500 workers, 10 engineers, 1 superintendent, 4

supervisors, 10 foremen) and many supporting equipment and tools. The work

also included the supervision for operation of all the equipment prior to

handing over to the owner. The cost of the project was $235,000.000.00.
