Summary
As the Founder of a global non-profit and Director of Operations of a computer systems integration
company, my professional experience primarily involves project management, operations, and international
training and deployment. I have 10 years of experience working in Africa particularly within the Mdolo
region of Malawi. Decisions in my life are largely driven by my desire to make a positive impact on the
world – from education and poverty alleviation to providing clean water and maternal health.
Professional Experience
Director of Operations: GreenBridge Computing May 2011 – Present
Manages daily operations for a computer integrations company with customers in over 30 countries
Play key roles in product management, partnership development, and IT and operational leadership
Designed and administered 14-day training and deployment in Kenya with Microsoft’s “white-spaces”
Representative for “Spark a Child’s Digital Future,” driving implementation and training on a 21-day
multi-million dollar project in partnership with World Vision, Intel, Microsoft, and the British Council
Structured operational protocols and supervised execution of product fulfillment, inside sales, field
installations and intern recruitment and training.
Founder & President: A Barefoot Mile Foundation Nov 2011 – Present
Founder of a 501c3 nonprofit that focuses on sustainable development initiatives in rural Africa
Lead 3 staff and 5 board members in project planning, fundraising, implementation, and measurement
Grew annual revenue over 1200% within 3 years through events, personal grants, and private donors
Completed projects include
o Maternity wing with 0.00% maternal mortality (vs. national rate of .68%) and over 3,500 births
o Educational infrastructure such as a 14-seat computer lab and a library serving 800 children
o Clean water initiative that directly supplied over 1,200 individuals with access to potable water
o Creation of an Orphan Care Center serving over 180 orphans
o Improved local Health Center that provides services to over 8,000 individuals
