Notes : At Morneau Transport in Mississauga, I supervise one dock worker and one shunter.
Morneau has 9 trucks, but works in partnership with Canada Cartage and UPS Freight. I am
responsible for dispatching to them regarding deliveries & pick-ups that we do not service. The
Morneau dock section consists of 8 doors. The total UPS Freight dock has 68 doors and 1 ramp.

Dock supervisor (evening shift)
• Supervise & coordinate activities of workers engaged in loading/unloading trucks & in
moving & storing materials or products.
• Assign job tasks to workers according to loading/unloading schedules.
• Train new employees in job duties.
• Coordinate with customer service department.
• Instruct dock crew to load freight according to outbound planning requirements & to move
freight according to special priority request.
• Ensure that all work is performed according to company procedures for dock operations.
• Coordinate timely pulling of loads & spotting of empties with shunt crew.
Notes : At Caravan Logistics, I was responsible for the supervision of two dock workers and one
shunter. The Caravan facility has four doors and one ramp.
