Research in the field of Plant Biology. Worked on the investigating of population genetics of the butterfly
milkweed plant, Asclepias tuberosa. which has not been studied and its DNA has not been sequenced before this
initial study.
- Utilized techniques including DNA analysis, PCR, RFLP, and ISSR analysis
- Handled glassware and cleaning/Replenished lab stock/Formulated buffers and stock solutions for the undergrad
research lab.
Presented research at 2013 TriBeta NE Regional Conference & 2013 Undergraduate Research Day was recognized
at the TriBeta Iona Conference for research.
