son teams on contractual and retained service basis. Assist in client’s strategic business planning as subject
matter expert on government oversight and regulation.
Key clients include: AT&T, Sprint, Embarq, Genting, Barr Labs, Florida Home Builders Association, SkyeTec,
American Heart Association, Mold Assessors & Remediators Coalition, and the American Jewish Committee.
Achievements:
• Mold-Related Services Act: Regulates persons and companies labeling themselves as qualified to per-
form mold-related assessment and removal services. Law includes strict prohibitions, penalties and
insurance requirements. Drafted key components. Enacted: 2007.
• US Department of Energy stimulus:, Expanded home weatherization program through Florida’s De-
partment of Community Af airs; favorably positioned client, SkyeTec, subsequently chosen as Quality
Control Assurance Vendor for $175M weatherization program. Enacted: 2010.
• PACE legislation: allows local governments to levy non-ad valorem assessments to fund improve-
ments related to energy ef ciency, conservation, and renewables benefitting client SkyeTec. Enacted:
2009.
• AT&T related legislation: completed retail deregulation of wire-line telecommunications services. The
bills placed Florida among the most progressive states in modernizing telecommunication regulation.
Enacted: 2009 and 2011.
• Committee of Continuous Existence (CCE) and an Electioneering Communications Organization (ECO):
Founder, Chairman and Treasurer to raise funds to successfully elect a state Senator.

prove business environment. Conducted all media communications and positioned Association as clearing-
house of information on gambling in Florida. Published quarterly newsletter for executive and legislative
branches of Florida’s State Government.

Achievements:
Performed instrumental role in preventing questionable casino and gambling revenue deal between
Trump Casinos and Florida’s Seminole Tribe by investigating ties between lobbyists and govern-
ment of cials as high up as the Governor. Subsequent media coverage credited with preventing
compact agreement.
Oversaw two direct reports and coordinated and managed a team of 5 lobby/law firms.
