Industrial Training:
Telecom Equipment Technology Duration: 6 weeks
The students were provided with basic telecom equipment practical knowledge that we most commonly use in the
telecom sector, along with setting up of the BTS and telephone exchanges. I also mentored a group of new students
came for training and monitored the duties of an official post for a day in absence of my mentor with good handling of
duties of that post.
Satellite Communication Equipment Duration: 4 weeks
The students were introduced to various components in the setting up of the T.V station relay centre and real time
broadcast centre through space wave’s communication technology. Actively engaged in with the person in charge of
satellite communication equipment handling and troubleshooting and participated in quizzes organized by the same.
Projects:
Cell phone operated Land Rover
It’s a small 4 wheeler vicheal which is controlled through a mobile phone over a GSM communication technology
using DTMF decoders to control the vicheal movement in any specific direction. As it is remotely controlled with good
technology like 3G (for video) as we have now, it can be indispensable tool for military and civil operations in
hazardous areas. Actively managed the design and guided the working of the group for the project which was
efficiently executed in time and keeping costs low.
