Primary duties included full production and conversion of TYVEK rolls into

open end envelopes, including size changes, print setups, seam gluing and

hot melt self sealing flap.

. Maintenance and repair of most mechanical breakdowns or diagnosis

. Assisted Machine operator with quality control and packaging of final

product

. Consulted with maintenance/electrician (first shift only) about

machine problems that needed further attention

. Was unofficial 3rd shift "go to" maintenance man

. Gained some experience with lathes, milling machines and drill press

. Routinely used TIG wielder to repair old parts and fabricate new parts

. Used VOHM meter to diagnose electrical problems on machine

. Assisted Supervisor with PC problems.

Notes:

- If I had free time while machine was running smoothly I took it

upon myself to do other things to improve my work area (replace

lights, mop floors, clean up work area).

- If there was no material handler available, I would use clamp

truck/ fork truck to retrieve material for machine.

. Monitored latex solution levels and application

. Performed low level maintenance of machine

Diagnosed and repaired automotive problems including brakes, exhaust, tune-
