Dear H i r ing Manager,
I came across t he position that I nfotree Service has available on I ndeed.com for a Business
A nalyst and I wanted to take some t ime to relay why I believe I would be a great fi t with I nfotree
Service. I have experience which would lend specific professional expertise as I t ransition
careers to become a Business Analyst and I think that my experienced gained therein would
make me an excellent candidate for this role. K nowing this, I am absolutely dedicated to making
sure I sufficiently explain who I am, why I would be great in this role, and how my tenure would
be an asset to this organization and i ts standard of excellence in all that it does. I want this
cover letter to showcase my skills and hopefully, if given the opportunity, I can use time on the
p hone or in person to also explain how my experience works with my personality to fuse a great
employee together to be on the team.
For a li t tle bit of information about myself, I a ttended Arizona State University and successfully
obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Modern European History. Upon graduation I stepped into
my first professional role at Enterprise Rent-A-Car where I cultivated a strong communication
and managerial background. Since then, I used these skills when I t ransitioned in to the
f inancial and mortgage industries. W hile my roles have not yet been specifically within business
analysis, working at Grand Canyon University and Bank of America have both adequately
p repared me for success as a BA. I am now extremely proficient in being a liaison for and across
m ulti-level stakeholders which would assist me well in leveraging requirements gathering and
related communication for the benefit of the company and the customer. I a lso am well versed in
root cause analysis which, while not software-specific, has required excellent attention to detail
and understanding of stakeholder interests.
A dditionally, all of my roles have allowed me to develop a very in depth understanding of each on
various personal, business and industry levels. The dynamics of this role helped diversify my
s kill set and challenged me to overcome obstacles and provide managerial support in an effort to
meet quanti tative goals and client satisfaction. They have all been in extremely fast paced, high
s tress and high pressure environments with strong emphasis on time management and hit ting
weekly and monthly goals. All of these skills are c ritical t rai ts to have as a Business Analyst
and have combined to further who I am as a professional and have subsequently aided me in
learning how to make critical decisions needed to ensure efficient business f low.
While I understand this was a lengthy introduction, I want to make sure I have successfully
conveyed my enthusiasm for this opportunity as well as my qualifications for i t. I sincerely do
appreciate any t ime taken to review this cover letter as well as my resume and hope to be
contacted by a representative to discuss this opportunity further.
Regards,
Christine MacDonald
