givers. I teach them basic information about medications (i.e.
Precautions, indications, side effects, warnings), principles of medication

sterile) dressings, and do some routine procedures in a home setting. I
provide services ongoing to the home and maintain records and do routine
visits to follow up and observe their ongoing practices. My service allows
NACs to provide care in a home- type setting.

as needed- wound care, overseeing medications, personal hygiene,
transporting to medical appointments, over seeing nutritional needs. A
large part of this opportunity was to provide information and
education to both the client and the family regarding treatments,
illness progression and management.
