Description : The Multi-Model biometrics is designed to overcome the limitations
in the uni-model biometric systems. The proposed system is expected to be more reliable
due to the presence of multiple, independent pieces of evidence. It elegantly addresses
several of the problems present in uni-modal biometrics. By combining multiple sources of
information, these systems improve matching performance, deter spoofing and facilitate
indexing.

Title : A Novel Approach for Fingerprint Matching using Minutiae

Description:Fingerprint recognition is one of the most important challenging tasks of the
biometrics identification due to the fact that they are easy to obtain and most importantly
they are reliable. The fingerprint matching method based on minutia features is one of the
researched problems. So an effective fingerprint matching algorithm based on feature
extraction is proposed. Also we have presented a novel fingerprint recognition technique
for minutia extraction and a minutia matching is also presented.
