Submarine Nuclear Propulsion Mechanic - knowledge and experience operating

and maintaining a submarine nuclear propulsion plant's mechanical systems

and related auxiliaries to a high standard of professionalism and

readiness.

Building Automation and HVAC Technician - work with commercial HVAC systems

and extensive building automation integration with industry recognized

vendors.

Computer Skills - include full familiarity with Windows based email, word

processing, and spreadsheet programs as well as troubleshooting and

programming HVAC building automation and Programmable Logic Controller

(PLC) systems and proprietary inventory, production management, and

scheduling applications. I am comfortable and experienced working with PC-

Submarine Quality Assurance Inspector - as a QAI, I was trained on quality

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A SUBMARINE NUCLEAR PROPULSION PLANT AND ALL

RELATED AUXILIARY SYSTEMS. A CHALLENGING ASSIGNMENT ABOARD WHAT WAS AT THE

TIME THE OLDEST US NAVY NUCLEAR SUBMARINE IN SERVICE. NUMEROUS COLLATERAL

DUTIES INCLUDED SHIPBOARD GAUGE CALIBRATION AND INSPECTION, DIESEL ENGINE

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISION, AND PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTING A PREVENTATIVE

MAINTENANCE SYSTEM TO ACHIEVE A HIGH LEVEL OF READINESS. ACHIEVED THE PAY

PHYSICAL PLANT OPERATOR/EMCS TECHNICIAN, CITY OF TUCSON, NOVEMBER 1997 TO

JUNE 2006

Operation and troubleshooting of the City of Tucson's HVAC Physical Plant

at Tucson Convention Center, as well as the city-wide Energy Management

Control System of building automation for various public buildings across

the city, to include police stations, the Main Library, the TCC, and City

Hall. Interaction with customers and meeting their needs occupied the

majority of the work performed. Up to 34 separate locations comprised the

city's EMCS 'campus.' I implemented a training program to increase the

skills and knowledge of vendor EMCS products, and assisted with the

transition from an older obsolete automation framework to a modern system

using the city's wide area network and was responsible for lowering the

city's energy consumption costs dramatically, including an instance of a

one hundred-thousand dollar annual savings in energy costs at a single

satellite library/recreation center.

PRODUCTION FOREMAN, ALICAT SCIENTIFIC, AUGUST 2006 TO MARCH 2013

I began in an entry-level position as a production technician assembling

precision gas flowmeters, flow controllers, and pressure instruments over a

wide product range, worked my way up to calibration technician using in-

house calibration and integration equipment, then as an inspector for final

completion, before serving as the Production Foreman running a shop whose

output has increased annually without fail from six million dollars to

twelve million dollars in production sales.
