I am an educated writer and editor with years of cumulative experience and a wide variety of
published work - both online and in print. I use my years of experience to provide my students
with in depth knowledge and guidance in their essay writing and research; and I provide clients
with high quality and well researched blog posts, stand-alone articles, product descriptions, big
or small revisions of existing material, and with original content. My wide range of interests in
education, literature, gardening, animals, food, politics, history, science, tech and the arts keep
me engaged and excited to undertake all new endeavors.
Professional Experience
Freelance Writer and Editor 1992 -

I began content writing in the early 1990's, doing product descriptions; writing music and book
reviews; and editing band interviews and news articles for a label and music distribution. I
further honed my skills as a researcher, academic writer and editor while earning my BA and MA
in literature.
In the past few years, I have been writing content for local marketing campaigns in the form of
social media updates for a vintage clothing store, online content refinement for a local record
store and music distribution, and in the form of a series of vendor spotlights for a new ongoing
upscale vintage and artisan market that premiered this summer.
