Galva Coat for Galvanizing & Lighting Poles, Abu Dhabi

Handling and managing all of design dept. matters throughout the following

scope of work:

. Design of overhead transmission lines up to 400kV, by determining the

line basic parameters, selection of the routes, sag & tension

calculations, tower spotting, stringing charts, tower outline diagram

and clearances calculations complying with international codes ( NESC,CSA and achieving a high standard of optimization.

. Designing and computer detailing of transmission lattice towers &

transmission monopoles (several families of towers from 138 to 400 kV

lines).

. Tele-communications monopoles/towers, high masts using up to date design

software's and complying with British, European and American standard.

. Conduct particular studies concerning fatigue, dynamics and analyze

reliability of the structure by obtaining the safety index using

FOSM, AFSOM and Monte Carlo simulations.

. Prepare technical presentation for the new projects / products.

. Prepare and create new non-standard submittals/ designs complying with

customer requirements and according to international standards and any

applicable Regulations.

. Review / Verify and approve design calculations / drawings & submittals

prepared by design Engineer.

. Oversee drafters generating detail shop drawings in more than a hundred

projects.

. Develop sample specification, preliminary proposal, schematic layouts and

budgetary estimate for new customers.

. Prepare detailed specification for the purchase of the required material

& equipments.

. Provide technical support to domestic sales group to achieve their sales

target which reaches more than 140% in 2013.

. Promote steel distribution pole to replace wooden poles by conducting

several research and presentation.

. Establish and implement product standardized coding for more than 1500

products.

. Prepare municipal / company pre-qualification for their approval as and

when required.

. Follow up new designs in the factory and ensure their validation.

. Interact with Q.C. / factory / other departments in an effort to resolve

problem.

. Resolve site queries, attending site meetings and performing site

inspections during the construction phase of projects.

. Coordinate with Q.C. department and resolve issues including attending

tests of materials and products.

- 4.5KW solar energy project for CINA HABSHAN DERA dated 2011.

- 11kV OHL for FEWA tender E24/2009 (120 km) dated 2011.
