Design of MEMS based self-poweredpiezoresistive pressure sensor and LabVIEW simulation of Tyre Pressure

Monitoring System.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project focuses on developing a MEMS based piezoresistive pressure sensor for tyre pressure measurement

in COMSOL Multiphysics. It also involvesin developing a virtual prototype of a TPMS in LabVIEW and self-

powering with Micro-Generator using a Cantilever beam design in COMSOL.

An abstract of the project has been submitted tothe Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology

for approval of Student’s project scheme.

Underwent In-plant Training at AuroMira Energy Pvt. Ltd., Chennai for a period of 1 week on the topic

"Energy Generation in a Thermal Powerplant".

Attended a workshop on "Distributed Control Systems and Field Instruments"conducted by Yokagawa
