Experience:
As the Oklahoma City Site Earned Value Management Focal and subject matter expert (SME) I was responsible for
providing guidance on earned value issues and ensure the programs are in compliance with the approved EVM
Systems Description and reporting in accordance with the contractual requirements.
One of my main responsibilities was to assist in improving the health of the EV processes/procedures at the site
especially in the areas of Variance Analysis and Estimates at Completion. I worked with the individual programs to
ensure the analyst and Control Account Managers understand the compliance requirements setforth by Company
EVM Systems Description and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) 32 Guidelines that govern EVM.
My responsibilities included conducting EVM training (EVM Basics Training, Variance Analysis, Metrics & Indices
and Scheduling Foundations) at the site, maintaining the Control Account Manager (CAM) qualification data. I
coordinated with the Government counterparts on audits and surveillances such as Implementation Reviews (IR),
Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), DCMA Site Surveillance, Joint Surveillance, etc. and are responsible for
developing the Root Cause/Correction Action Plans and Verification Plans associated with any findings as a result of
the surveillances and audits.
I was responsible for communicating the activities/problems associated with the EVMS System to management and
Home Office. I co-lead the Business Operations Users Group Meeting used to “get the word out” to the Financial
Analyst users. The meeting is used to address any new or revised process/procedure, training requirements and tool
enhancements. I have worked with the Boeing Home Office Core Team to establish required training material, User
tools/checklists and process documentation.
As the Financial Operations Team Business Analyst (TBA) Subject Matter Export (SME), I was responsible for
working with all the site programs and assisting the analysts with EVM issues and cost and schedule tool training
and resolution of issues. I work with the Site Core group in developing processes and procedures for the site
processes and procedures
I have conducted training on the EVMS Cost, Schedule Performance Reporting (CSPR) tool that consists of Cobra
and Open Plan Professional. As a member of the EVM Training Community of Practice team, have assisted in the
development of many of the training modules used as job guides by the Business Analysts.
I have developed detailed network schedules consisting of engineering drawings through to parts fabrication, and
installation. I have integrated the detailed (Tier V) schedule into the Program Master Schedule, Aircraft
Modification ACC Position Schedule and control accounts (Tier IV) to show traceability ensuring horizontal and
vertical traceability between schedule and control accounts. I conducted twice weekly Change Board meetings to
review the Make/Buy listing/decisions, reviewed status and determined workaround/recovery plans when required.
General Information:
I was the instructor for Microsoft Project at Cowley County Community College (CCCC) for Boeing from 1999 thru
2004. Class curriculum the fundamentals of networking, resource loading and earned value using Microsoft Project.
I completed the PMP Certification courses through Villanova. Working towards getting my PMI PMP Certification.
