Personal Profile
After working and travelling around the world for the last 9 years I am now
seeking a permanent and challenging position.
I graduated in 2004 with a degree as Chemical Technician. Alongside my
studies I was working for the Degussa AG at several departments.
I am enthusiastic, adaptable, a hard worker and always willing to learn.
Key Skills
Analytical Thinking, Quality Control
At all departments of the Degussa AG we had to make sure to keep up a very
high standard of quality. Therefor it was necessary to take and analyze samples
of an ongoing process, as well as finding a solution to any occurring problem
regarding the quality of a product.
Forward Planning and Ability to Prioritize
I needed good time-management and planning skills in order to follow deadlines
and deliver a product or job in time. Therefore I sometimes had to prioritize
what needed to be done first in order to keep a process running.
Excellent Communication and Team Skills
Working as a trip leader in the outdoor adventure industry it is necessary to have
excellent communication skills and being a team player in order to handle
groups of over 100 people to get a trip running smoothly.
Proficient in Basic Plumbing, Electrical Wiring and Metal Work
As part of my education we had to learn the basics about plumbing, electrics and
metal work in order to setup a chemical process and keep it running.
Safe Work Practice
Working in the chemical industry as well as working in the outdoor adventure
industry where you are responsible for other peoples lives made it necessary to
follow very strict safety protocols. I had to be able to spot potential dangers and
finding solutions to work under as safe conditions as possible.
