troubles that may be encountered in various components of Hydraulic

systems for walking beam furnace such as pressure failure in supply line

and jamming of valves and pin due to bending of the frame along with

possible solutions have been dealt with and the complete analysis.

The objective of this work is to provide the

recommendations on how to calculate the heat transfer and

friction enhancement factors for rib turbulated cooling, matrix

cooling and impingement cooling.
