Dear Human Resources,
In response to your posting for the Administrative Assistant position, I am
formally applying for this position through my enclosed letter of intent
and resume.
I believe that my prior and current experiences and positions exhibit my
strengths including attention to details, communication, collaboration and
teamwork skills, as well as my ability to be an independent worker who
networks well with others. As a legal assistant at Giuliano and
Richardson, LLC, I worked as a legal assistant for three attorneys. In my
daily routine I worked with clients and gathered, organized, and analyzed
documents, collated data, organized and developed spreadsheets, typed
correspondence and legal documents as well as ordered supplies and
completed professional services billing including collections. I provided
timely communication with clients, physicians, adjustors and attorney's
offices. Also, I completed research, and kept accurate timelines for all
cases so that all documents and responses were prepared in a timely manner.
While working in Regional 14 School District, I interacted with students,
faculty, staff, parents and administration presenting clear and concise
data and learning new computer applications as well as skills. I am
proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. The reason that I left
Regional School District 14 and Giuliano and Richardson, LLC was due to my
permanent relocation to New Jersey from Connecticut.
I pride myself in taking the initiative and motivation to learn new skills
and computer applications on my own time in order to complete my jobs
successfully. In all of my past and current job responsibilities, I
exhibit effective time management and organizational skills, which enables
me to accomplish many tasks concurrently at a quality level while staying
organized and maintaining a positive working environment.
The Administrative Assistant position incorporates customer service,
attention to detail, organization and effective teamwork to achieve a
common goal. I believe that this position will provide me with the
opportunity to gain new skills and knowledge, as well as to implement my
communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
Thank you for your attention and consideration of my letter of intent and
resume for the aforementioned position. I am available to interview at a
time that is convenient for you.
Sincerely,
Maryanne Kaminski
