different types of projects including large electric utility transmission
infrastructure projects, renewable energy projects, and pipeline projects.
I coordinate all information from the members of the project team with
regard to the time/cost management plan, creates Work Breakdown Structure
(WBS) based on contract documents, and develop activities and related
details required to complete projects using CPM method. I utilize both
Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project as scheduling software's. Additionally,
I develop multiple plans to identify alternative approaches to complete the
remaining work. Analyze, review, and recommend modifications to effectively
compress the time required to complete the work, mitigate delays and
minimize impacts on the critical path. Analyze production rates of
historical projects to determine feasibility based on terrain and time of
the year. Additional duties include:
- Developing Baseline schedules to match with resource availability by
applying resource leveling and allocation techniques.
- Preparing linear schedules using linear display software (TILOS) or
Excel.
- Measuring construction progress for site installation works as per the
agreed rules of credit and Update Project schedules on a
weekly/Monthly basis.
- Applying Earned Value Management System to draw Progress S-curves/
Histograms profiles.
- Conducting manpower forecasts using productivity analysis techniques,
and material takeoff.
- Developing and maintaining projects cash flow.
- Supporting change orders/claims process.
2006 - 2009 Kharafi National - Senior Project Controls Specialist,
Kuwait
Responsible for preparing project month-end reports for project board
reviews, including cost committed to-date, incurred cost to-date, and
forecasted cost at completion, preparing and maintaining project cash flow,
preparing RBA (Request for Budget Adjustment) when needed, preparing
productivity analysis reports, and analyzing earned value to evaluate
project performance. I used change management tools to monitor, measure,
and manage changes to scopes of work. Additionally, I reviewed and made
recommendations of project progress payments and prepared and submitted
claims to clients for loss in productivity, acceleration cost, or cost for
extension of time.

I was in charge of analyzing savings and overruns in budget work packages,
preparing the forecast cost of the project, and organizing monthly cost
reports and project summaries. I was also responsible for preparing
monthly progress payment certificates and maintaining the proper document
control system to support proper invoicing for site installed quantities,
engineering, and supply chain work.
