Strategic sourcing and procurement. Experienced in high volume purchase working directly with manufacturers,
OEM’s, distributors, and brokers. At Clover, sourced and procured printed circuit boards (PCB) offshore resulting
in cost savings of 40-68% and scheduled on-time deliveries. At Northwest Airlines, sourced suppliers for 4000+
spare parts. Annual spend varied from $25M to $60M. Procured all JT8D engine parts from Pratt & Whitney.
Inventory management. Organized, performed, and led inventory counts on annual and weekly basis for inventory
values ranging from $100K to $45M (Northwest Airlines). At Clover, implemented Kanban, worked on inventory
location identification, and participated in strategic inventory store locations to improve one piece flow processes.
Helped design a measurement tool to determine inventory counts of certain electronic components.
Vendor management. At Northwest, negotiated pricing, kitting, and JIT deliveries of hush kits for JT8D engines for
the world’s largest DC9 aircraft fleet. Each hush kit was valued at over $1M. Always negotiate with suppliers by
utilizing fair practices and positive solutions for both parties. At Panasonic, worked with vendor managed inventory
(VMI) to improve on-the-shelf stock resulting in same day deliveries in a high-speed production environment.

2010 – August 2014 Clover Electronics Inc. Newnan, Georgia
Clover specialized in quality electronics manufacturing and contract manufacturing services – primarily for printed
circuit boards (PCB). The site was ISO 9001:2008 certified.
Purchasing Agent / Materials Manager
Reported directly to the company President. Solely responsible for the purchasing of electronic components and
support of the manufacturing production lines. Annual spend averaged $1.8M.
Sourced components with distributors; achieved cost savings of $200K (11%) over the last 12 months.
Scheduled timely deliveries to prevent lines down and non-moving inventory.
Worked closely with engineering and quality for alternate electronic components.
Led production meetings for a year. Introduced and helped lead the implementation of 5S on the production floor.
Implemented Kanban in a purchasing environment that did not have a MRP system.
Upgraded inventory database and improved materials management processes.

Purchased electrical and electromechanical parts from Japanese suppliers. Annual spend was up to $8M.
Analyzed, purchased, and supported manufacturing production lines. Created reports for past due orders, Japanese
yen purchase projections, MRP details, various VMI reports, and slow-moving / non-moving (SM/NM) inventory.
Located alternative sources for critical parts. Worked with suppliers, engineering, and quality.
Achieved 100% parts availability by monitoring potential shortage reports daily.
Designed a shortage communication log that increased communication efficiency by 50% and eliminated phone
calls, office visits, and emails.
Maintained 50% inventory levels for four weeks’ future demand.
