PROJECT PROFILE
PROJECT: AERODYNAMIC DESIGN OF FRONT WING BASED ON CFD (JULY 2013 –APRIL 2014)
A great deal of research has been done on the aerodynamic characteristics of race cars competing in
•
major racing series throughout the world.
The front wing of a race car operates in ground effect and produces about 25% to 30% of the total down
•
force of the car.
Project concentrated on the wind flow analysis using CFD method, for that ANSYS fluent software is
•
used for analyzing the model and find out appropriate down force.
IN- PLANT TRAINING: HINDUSTAN MACHINE TOOLS LTD (JUNE 2009 – JULY 2009)
Incurred sound knowledge in CNC programming, lathe design, foundry, and printing machine.
•
Also worked in association with planning and production unit of HMT.
•
PROJECT: EXHAUST GAS HEAT RECOVERY POWER GENERATION SYSTEM
(JULY 10 – APRIL 11)
The project was to develop an alternate power in an automobile using heat generated from exhaust gas.
•
This alternate power is used for charging of the battery. This is developed from the principle of KERS.
•
TECH SEMINAR: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM (NOVEMBER 09 - APRIL 10)
• Vehicle technology has increased rapidly in recent years, particularly in relation to braking systems and
sensing systems.
• Additional hardware that allows brake pressure to be increased above pedal demand as well as to be
reduced, combined with additional software control algorithms and sensors allow traction control (TC),
electronic brake force distribution (EBD), brake assist (BA) and electronic stability control (ESC)
functions to be added .
