advertising, direct mail, digital (internet) advertising to multiple
websites owned by the Tribune Company. Prepared and made presentations to
company presidents, VP's of marketing, advertising agencies and General
Managers in the automotive, RV, motorcycle and commercial truck
industries.
2004 - Present Allstar Promotions, Whittier, CA
Owner of a direct response and custom apparel company. Duties include
negotiating, closing and fulfilling advertising contracts. Primarily
focused on using direct mail, social media, e mail blasts, radio and
television. Clients include automotive, RV, commercial truck and
motorcycle dealerships.
2000 - 2004 Specialized Direct Response. Costa Mesa, CA
Division Manager for large direct advertising company. Responsibilities
included managing a staff of twenty inside and outside sales
representatives. Division clients included auto, RV, and motorcycle
dealers in addition to mortgage clients and financial institutions.
1985 - 1989 Los Angeles Herald Examiner, Los Angeles, CA
Major Account Executive in the National Advertising Department for a
major metropolitan newspaper. Made presentations and sold newspaper
advertising to local and national advertising agencies, dealer
associations and large fortune 1,000 companies.
